2017 Subaru Outback Slated as One of the Best New Cars for Teens

The U.S. News & World Report names eight vehicles out of 108 to the Best New Cars for Teen award. This award is for accident prevention and crash protection technologies. The 2017 Subaru Outback was also placed for overall quality as a Best New Car for Teens.

The Subaru Outback got this recognition due to having a combination of the best available advanced driver assistance features including EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, crash test scores, reliability ratings, and top critics' recommendations in the U.S. News Best Car rankings in its price category.

The Outback was instrumental in launching the automotive trend to crossovers more than two decades ago. Since, it has won many awards and gained recognition from many sources, including being a top safety pick of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
