All New Buick Verano is Smart

Buick is ready to revolutionize the way people see their cars. For starters, the GM brand is making their current lineup "smarter." And, with "smarter" vehicles will come "smaller" vehicles. The 2012 Buick Verano is one of the automaker's first attempts in an effort to reinvent their image.
Created on the Opel platform, used by General Motors in Europe, the Verano is positioned just under Buick Regal and Lacrosse sedan. But, the Verano is not considered 'economy' by any means. All drivers whether they are new to Buick or are loyal fans will find textured, quality materials inside the Verano. Infotainment dash system, bright lights, and the most comfortable seating in its class lend a hand in helping drivers and passengers forget what trim level they are in. Additional added features including the optional leather trim and additional tech features also impress passengers and drivers alike.
Under the hood of the Verano you can find a 2.5 liter four cylinder engine able to produce 170 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque (at 4,900 rpm). This direct injection engine averaged 25.5 MPG (21 city, 32 highway).
"Verano doesn't float along on roads, the way old Buicks did. This new model rides solidly via a suspension -- independent MacPherson struts up front and a torsion beam in the rear -- that keeps the car body planted over bumps," adds Boston.com.1
The Buick Verano's suggested retail price for the base model, including destination, is $23,470.
