Cadillac Targets Luxury Import Drivers

Contrary to what you may believe, car buyers stopping by Power of Bowser in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania are not all return customers. Cadillac has piqued the interest of many buyers who are unfamiliar with the exquisiteness and performance of a GM.

The forthcoming 2012 Cadillac XTS is on a mission to pique the interest of more import luxury car drivers who've never entertained the idea of driving an American luxury car before. It's quite simple, a Cadillac is waiting to change their minds.

The XTS sedan will hit dealership showrooms like Power of Bowser next year, presumably in late spring or early summer. XTS will become the most prevalent and most luxurious automobile produced by Cadillac for the next several years. The XTS is intended to target buyers who look for the latest technology as well as luxurious performance cars.

An element of the XTS's state-of-the-art technology is GM's CUE infotainment system. Along with reconfigurable instrument clusters, which offer four different display options, the American automaker's technology is upping its game for not only those behind the wheel, but passengers sitting in the rear.

"Black Car Buiness" as it's known as within the industry. "Black car is a term the industry uses to describe the Cadillacs?used for livery vehicles seen at airports and hotels. Sometimes the wheelbase is stretched six inches to create more rear seat legroom. The livery business is separate from the limousine business."1

Only time will tell if Cadillac has what it takes to become a top player in this market. We'll just have to wait until next year to see!
